Bigger bottles are almost always cheaper per ml, and that fact sells a lot of perfume that ends up half-full in 2035. The real question is whether you will use the volume before you tire of it. This tool does both calculations at once.

Why the horizon matters

An opened bottle stored well stays excellent for 5 to 10 years (see storage and care), but taste drifts much faster than juice degrades. The calculator uses a four-year enjoyment horizon: volume beyond it is priced as waste. Pair the result with the Cost Per Wear Calculator and the cost guide before buying, and remember discounters often make Option B's price appear on Option A's bottle (see FragranceNet and friends).
